Dawn Penfold, CMP, at the time a veteran of over 15 years service in the hospitality and meeting planning arena realized that no company had truly focused on meeting the employment needs of meeting industry professionals. She changed that in 1990 and the Meeting Candidate Network Inc was born. As the technologies available to meeting professionals improved, the Meeting Candidate Network stayed on the front line of the technological advance. In 1994 the Meetingjobs.com job board was introduced to the world. For the first time ever meeting professionals had one source to research employment opportunities and industry specific information such as salary surveys, interviewing and resume preparation assistance and other career enhancing aids. As the rate of change continues to accelerate and the availability of technology continues to spread, the Meeting Candidate Network has kept its position of leadership. In 2008 the company evolved into Meetingjobs. The name states what we are, and what we do. Meetingjobs meets the employment needs of meeting professionals.
Dawn Penfold, CMP

Dawn Penfold, CMP has been in the hospitality industry for over 25 years. As President of The Meeting Candidate Network, Inc., The Meeting Temp Job Network, as well as the popular jobboard MEETINGJOBS.COM, she plays an integral role in the operations and recruitment activities of the only search firm committed to the placement of permanent and temporary meeting professionals nationally.

In 1983 she was appointed Director of Tourism for the Brooklyn Bridge Centennial Celebration by Mayor Ed Koch. She has also been a meeting planner at The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Deloitte & Touche, and ITT World Headquarters. For over fifteen years, Dawn served as an Assistant Adjunct Professor at New York University teaching various courses on meetings management and career development.

Dawn has served as President on the Board of Directors for the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, and is a past Board Member for the New York Chapter of Professional Convention Management Association. She has published articles on the meetings industry for "Meeting News", "Meetings and Conventions Magazine", "Successful Meetings" and “Meetings Manager” offering sound and brutally honest advice in career management and job opportunities in the meetings industry. She has been recognized in the past by Meeting News as one of the 20 most influential people in the Meetings Industry.

Dawn holds a Masters Degree in Tourism and Travel Administration from the New School for Social Research and earned her Certified Meeting Professional designation in 1993.

Jill A. Adler, CMP

Jill A. Adler, CMP has been with The Meeting Candidate Network, Inc. since 1995. In her role, she is actively involved in the placement of permanent and temporary meeting professionals. She also is a webinar leader offering courses in the CMP process and various other webinars in meeting management. Jill is president of Meeting Matters, Inc., which is an independent meeting planning and training & development company. Jill is a Certified Meeting Professional with 20 years of industry experience from both the planner and supplier perspectives. Jill has spoken at NYMIX, Agenda NY, Meeting World as well as spoken at MPI International Conferences.

Jill is a past president of the Greater New York Chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She has been the recipient of the MPIGNY’s Planner of The Year Award in recognition of her leadership and contributions to the Industry, and remains an active member of Meeting Professionals International Greater New York Chapter (MPIGNY) as a facilitator of the Certified Meeting Planners (CMP) Study Group.

Jill holds, with honors, a Master's degree in Instructional Technology, Training & Development, from New York Institute of Technology and a Dual Master’s certification in Childhood Education and Literacy from CW Post.

Stephane Paul

Stephane Paul has enjoyed a growing relationship with The Meeting Candidate Network Inc. since 1999. During her time with the company she has focused on customer service, promotion and servicing the needs of clients in the medical education industry. Stephane enjoys the challenges of finding talented professionals for both long and short term projects. She is particularly energized by the fast paced nature of the temporary market.

Stephane has a long background of customer service and executive search experience. She has worked with clients in corporate and retail banking areas placing qualified candidates in all levels of management.

Stephane holds a Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with minors in International Business and Hospitality Management, as well as a Masters degree in Communications.
